WELCOME!

In 1951, a father's gift in honor of his son helped build the Bezazian Branch Library in Chicago. Today, Bezazian is one of the busiest and most popular of the Chicago Public Library's 81 branches.

Our goal is to help keep it that way.

We're the Friends of Bezazian Library. Join us.

Library budget cuts update: You were heard!

As of January 13, there's still no word on the particulars of the 2026 library budget, but thanks to you, it looks like our library has been spared at least some of the previously proposed cuts.

That's a win, and big one!

Thank you to everyone who took the time to write, call, and text your views on the importance of the library to our community and show your support for funding what matters.
